Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Digital Designer for an initial 12 month contract on a rate of c.£150-200/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

* The development of compelling and professionally designed material for the organisation.

* The design of easily accessibly materials.

* Improved communication of particular surveys.

* One page infographics for existing publications.

* One page infographics for existing social research publications.

* Interpret and understand design requirements quickly and be flexible if requirements change.

Requirements:

* Qualification in graphic or digital design.

* Ability to design and develop multiple infographics across a range of topics and maintain a consistency of style.

* Understanding of statistics and research evidence and how these can be presented using infographics.

* Capable of working with others in the team to help them understand their design needs and provide original ideas into the process.

* Be user-focused with an understanding of how analysis is used and therefore how it should be presented.

* Develop both paper-based content and web based content, with an understanding of how these different mediums are used by the end-user.

* Experience working in the public sector would be advantageous.
