Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on a motor controls project. The role will involve working on an existing code base that performs application and motor controls (10-20khz). The processor is a NXP 8 series, it's bare metal coding (no RTOS), and the comms protocols used are Modbus, UART & SPI. Other aspects to the role include debugging and systems level testing. An understanding of electronics is relatively crucial too. If this sounds like the sort of work you are used to, then please get in touch.

Rate: £40-£45 per hour

Length: 6 months +

Start Date: ASAP

Essential Skills

- Embedded C

- Bare Metal coding

- Microcontrollers

- Comms protocols. (Modbus, UART, SPI)

- Embedded control, high rate control activity. 10-20khz

- Testing, debugging at systems level

- Electronics background

Desirable Skills

- Motor Controls

- NXP processors

- DSP
