Contract Technical Analyst - Payment Systems - SEPA, BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT

London - up to £600 p/d - Initial 6-month term

An opportunity has arisen to join this banking group in a Contract Senior Systems Analyst capacity to support, develop and deliver on a range of transactional banking and payment systems covering SEPA, SWIFT, TRANSFER 2, Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS, AML and Cash Management Systems. This is to work for a large banking group (London Hub employing c.1000 individuals) with 400+ strong IT unit supporting the EMEA region.

You will be expected to have a strong understanding of UK Payment and international transactional banking systems.

This is a role which will see you working on UK and cross Board Payment systems and so a strong understanding of transactional banking systems is required.

Key duties

Payment Systems - Usage, designing and development

Systems Analysis for functional and non-functional requirements

UAT Testing / V-Model Testing / Integration Testing / System Testing

Requirements analysis and design

Understanding of payment systems development life cycle.

Following Waterfall Project delivery

Key skills

Technologies - Linux, Oracle, Biztalk, .Net, Websphere, Application services and MQ.

Payment systems and messaging formats

Need and understanding of SEPA Payment systems and ideally and understanding of the following: SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, AML, Faster Payments, Cash Management Systems, Other Clearing and Settlement systems

Daily rate - up to £600 per day

Term - 6 months initially, very strong chance for renewal
