Elasticsearch Specialist - Cyber Security

Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, are currently looking to recruit an Elasticsearch Specialist for an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£600-650/day (inside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Develop Security Operations Centre "use cases" from log source through to derived alerting

* Deliver bespoke analytics and dashboards (cyber and SOC related, not availability or environment stats)

* On board new data and logging streams to the Elastic platform

* Manage and administer the current Elastic platform

* Work with the Security Operations Centre and the service teams to design and implement environment specific logging and alerting

Requirements:

* Experience in Cyber Security monitoring

* Demonstrable experience of the "Elastic" product set: Elasticsearch, Log stash and Kibana
