Firewall/Security Specialist Engineer

Main Duties

*Review and consolidation of existing firewall rules on legacy firewalls

*Migration of firewall services from legacy firewalls to Check Point Next Generation Firewalls

*Design and configuration of Check Point Smart Event to provide correlated event notification triggers for suspicious events

*Design and implementation of OSPF dynamic routing services between Check Point Firewall clusters and existing WAN and core routers.

*Plan and implement the removal of Check Point web proxy configuration

Essential Specialist Skills and Qualifications

Experience with/knowledge of the following:

*3 Years experience with Check Point Next Generation Firewalls

*CCSA and CCSE accreditation with software version R80.10

*Demonstrable experience implementing Check Point OSPF Services

*Demonstrable experience configuring the deploying Check Point Identity Collector

*Demonstrable experience configuring and deploying Check Point Smart Event

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*Experience working in large and wide-spread organisations

Desirable Specialist Skills and Qualifications

*Experience of Juniper ScreenOS based Firewalls

*Experience of McAfee Sidewinder Firewall

*Experience of Juniper JUNOS based Firewalls
