Electrical Design Engineer

£30-£34 per hour (Limited company or Umbrella)

3 Month Contract- immediate start

Monday to Friday (Days Based)

Birmingham- Commutable from: Wolverhampton, Leicester, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Kidderminster, Tamworth, Midlands

Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer? Do you have experience designing bespoke electrical equipment?

My client are a leading player within their industry & they are now looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to be a key member in their defence department for an exciting up and coming naval project.

The successful candidate will need extensive experience of PLC configuration and programming alongside a considerable Solidworks background. The successful candidate will also need experience working on 440, 230, 115 and 24V systems.

On offer here is an excellent opportunity for an immediately available 3 month contract position with the view of being extended & with a great rate on offer this is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known company working on a prestigious project.

The Role:

*Determine the customer's requirement, recommend possible solutions, agree a common specification and produce a design concept to meet the company's objectives.

*Design and produce detailed drawings for bespoke electrical equipment

* Introducing new C&I concepts

The Person:

* Extensive PLC configuration and programming experience

* Designing equipment using Solidworks (Essential)

* Security cleared or the ability to pass security clearance
