Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation in the central belt, are currently looking to recruit an Enterprise Architect an initial 6 month contract on a rate of c.£800-900/day (outside of IR35).

Responsibilities:

* Finalisation of the organisation's current draft target architecture

* Provision of specialist advice and governance

* Supporting the establishment of the organisation's new Architecture function

* Finalisation of the organisation's current draft target architecture and support engagement with senior accountable officers and boards

* Production of an implementation roadmap with transition architectures

* Perform the role of Enterprise Architect role whilst ensuring knowledge transfer to key staff

* Support the establishment of the organisation's new architecture function

Requirements:

* Experience working in digital transformation of public and/or private sector organisation at an enterprise architecture level

* Track record of working with organisations to capture a target architect vision and ability to translate the agreed vision into a workable implementation plan with transition architectures

* Understanding of how to influence senior management and communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences

* Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focussed services

* Strong software development and application architecture experience, with good knowledge of open source technologies, testing and at least one programming language

* Experience of scaling online services

* Awareness of emerging security issues

* Ability to read and understand solution design documentation

* Understanding of agile environments, continual delivery techniques and dev-ops cultures
