The ideal candidate will have experience working on test automation for .NET, C# and Azure based production systems and have the proven ability to work on different technologies. As well as confidence in developing maintainable System and API test suites, they will understand automation at all levels of the test pyramid and have experience reviewing the code of unit and integration tests. YOU MUST BE FLUENT IN ITALIAN!

They should be able to respond and handle dynamic situations when under pressure, ensuring that test development effort is focused on the most important areas for delivery of a successful project. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with developers is essential in this role

Key Responsibilities

* Responsibility for the ensuring that the project meets quality standards: functional, performance and maintainability.

* Taking ownership of the test automation development for the project, performing code reviews and identifying with developers where additional test coverage may be required.

* Developing and maintaining API tests and User Interface system tests that run as part of Continuous Integration/Deployment pipelines.

* Be an advocate for high quality code, particularly that the code is both readable and maintanable.

Experience:

* Familiar with Azure cloud platform or equivalent e.g. AWS, GCP

* Experience working with test automation in the Microsoft stack / C#.

* Selenium.

* API testing frameworks e.g. RestSharp

* NUnit or other Unit testing frameworks e.g. XUnit, MSTest etc

* Working as part of a team in an Agile manner to build production systems.

* Working with Visual Studio Team Services or equivalent to manage development.

* Using GIT source control.

Desirable skills/experience: JavaScript or Typescript development.
