Devops Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

Your experience/skills:

* Outstanding knowledge in setting up, maintaining and evolving CI servers such as TeamCity, Jenkins, GitLab, Travis, Concourse and Azure DevOps

* Expertise in debugging and performance tuning of Linux and Windows based applications along with scripting languages such as Python, Shell and Powershell

* Extensive understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery as well as profound background in one of the languages such as Java/.net/C++/Golang/Rust and associated build tools

* Ability to design highly available, scalable and resilient systems in compliance with a strong understanding of infrastructure as code patterns, practices and tooling

* Sound knowledge of installing, maintaining and monitoring Java applications on Linux and/or Windows along with good command of virtualization, container technology and associated platforms such as Docker or K8s

* Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus

Your tasks:

* Creating strategic solutions within the DevOps space with a focus on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)

* Designing and developing enterprise grade applications such as DevOps practices

* Maintaining the strategic development platform with the aim to improve scalability, reliability, performance and resilience

* Providing technical expertise for the community and collaborating with other engineering teams across the bank

* Performing as a DevOps subject matter expert for the developer community and other stakeholders
