Senior Finance Manager - Group Reporting - LONDON - £400-£450 per daySenior Finance Manager - Group Reporting - LONDON - £400-£450 per day The work location is in Paddington, LONDON.The pay rate is between £400 - £450 per day.The role is working for a well established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.The Group Financial Reporting team are responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and relevant financial information for the client to the Audit Committee, Board and external shareholders. The team is responsible for preparing weekly and monthly Group management information and the accounting for c.40 corporate subsidiaries.This role provides key support to the Head of Group Reporting through ensuring financial information is reported timely and accurately, and by deploying the day-to-day priorities and workload of the Group Reporting team.Key accountabilities of the role include:Weekly reportingReview of the weekly Financial Headlines report used by the Operating Committee at the weekly trading meetingPrincipal finance owner of the internal trading statement process and modelAccountability for the integrity of the data within model and its outputsMonthly reportingAssistance in preparation and review of the Group Reporting sections of monthly management accountsPrincipal owner of the Group balance sheet and cash flow reportingKey liaison with the finance teams across the business to analyse/report monthly resultsAssist with the monthly consolidation processHalf/Full year reportingAssisting in the preparation of the Group Annual and Half Year financial statements, Annual Report and preliminary results announcements to the stock marketKey point of contact at the senior manager level with the external audit teamLiaise with Investor Relations team in respect of providing financial support - ensure the integrity of all financial data within their presentationOtherProvision of ad hoc technical accounting support to the businessAssist with review of more complex subsidiary statutory accountsAssist with timely resolution of ad hoc queries from Investor relationsHelp develop best practice proceduresKey experience:Strong background in technical financial accounting and it's application in the commercial worldDemonstrated the ability to lead and develop a team, with a track record of showing collaborative working as well as the confidence to make recommendationsStakeholder management key If you are relevant or interested don't delay, contact me on 0161 924 3626
