A leading Global Bank currently requires a Principal Analyst for an initial 6 month contract based in London, paying up to £350 per day via PAYE.Your responsibilities will include: The role is to support testing-related projects as well as identifying customers who have been impacted by banking errors or product issues, calculating refund due and supporting the fulfilment of redress activity.It entails putting things right for the customers by providing accurate analytics using large data sets, presenting to stakeholders at different levels of the organisation and partnering with the business to ensure a sound way forward.Collaboration skills and knowledge of the banking industry and commercial banking product to work across number of complex remediation programs that span across multiple products required.The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications:Strong analytical reasoning3+ years SAS experience required. Also Preferable to have experience in VBA or other presentation toolsTeradata exposure would be idealHighly developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate to business language & financial impacts.Ability to shape projects from inception and contribute own ideasAbility to manage both own & team time effectively to ensure delivery of multiple projectsAbility to coach other analystsExcellent oral & written communication with ability to influence & communicate analysis & recommendations to colleagues at different levels of the organisationPlease do get in touch if you would like to discuss this opportunity further by submitting your most up to date CV in the first instance.
