Business Analyst (CMS, SQL, Agile)

6 MonthsThe Role:You will be working across the group as part of a dedicated team looking at how the business can transform their internal content systems to better meet the needs of the business. This will involve liaising with key business and technical owners to build a picture of the current state and future state of the content systems. The outcome of this analysis will involve looking for key improvements across the content systems and team workflows that are currently used on all of the products and how they can be changed and improved. You will then be working with the delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure that everything is meeting initial expectations.Key Responsibilities:* Working closely and collaboratively across the group Product Teams and stakeholders across the business to elicit, understand, document and prioritise new requirements

* Use the right analysis technique for the right stage in the product development lifecycle

* Analyse complex systems and clearly communicate findings

* Ensure problems are defined to the right level of detail and help define solution options

* Define business requirements, processes and user journeys

* Work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, Developers and Testers to ensure an accurate and shared understanding of requirements

* Work with the Product Team to manage product backlogs

* Validate the impact of releases

* Act as proxy Product Manager

* Act as an interface between the Squad, product teams and key stakeholders

* Use data to drive decisions and maximise value to the business

* Always be looking for ways to improve processes and outcomesKey Skills:* Business Analysis skills, including the ability to elicit requirements from stakeholders and communicate them to delivery teams using recognised tools and techniques

* Experience working as a Business Analyst within a lean / agile development environment would be advantageous

* Understanding of customer interactions and user journeys and demonstrating a passion for continually improving customer experience

* An analytical and inquisitive mind-set with the ability to translate business cases and analysis into tangible outcomes

* Naturally collaborative, and with a desire to be part of a highly successful team rather than just a highly successful individual

* High levels of commitment and enthusiasm

* Highly organised and self-motivated, with a desire to see a job through to conclusion

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and comfortable operating at all levels of an organisationDesirable Skills:* Experience working on content modelling systems

* Experience working with SQL databases

* Liaising with Senior level (C Suite) Stakeholders
