NHS defends porn habit
A flagship NHS hospital that was recently commended for high levels of patient safety has slammed its doctors and nurses for looking at porn on the internet.
The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Trust has reportedly issued 30 members of staff with informal warnings for the sex snooping that was exposed last year.
One worker has since been sacked and a further four have been given formal warnings after management found that the hospital's internet code had been breached 3,348 times.
According to The Sun, the porn scandal is not the first time the £229 million hospital has been embarrassed, as four workers have already been sacked for illicit surfing in 2004.
A spokesman said, "We employ 5,700 staff and we take our responsibilities regarding the conduct of staff and integrity of our IT systems seriously."
