Enterprise Architect -Navy Digital Portsmouth3 months£ PAYE or UMBMy client is looking for an Enterprise Architect to direct the development of multi-disciplinary architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with both external and internal customers. Owns and maintains the Programme level view of capability being delivered and identifies where common capability development should take place. Directs and informs activity across multiple major streams of work, identifying common threads and ensuring coordination in design to ensure a coherent business capability can be delivered. High level summary of what the Navy Digital would require of an Enterprise Architect in the context of this programme:Leads and directs a large design team focused on delivery of new Digital and Data capabilities across the Royal NavyResponsible for defining and delivering the significant digital and data focused projects/strategies/architecturesWorks with and influences senior levels to understand their needs, and is able to apply make sound judgement across technical and commercial aspectsResponsible for creation of enterprise and business architectures defining the key principles, methods and models that describe the organisation's future state, and roadmap for its evolution; including;Interpretation of strategy, goals and drivers;Translation of Navy strategy and objectives into Digital capability needs and related programmes of workStrategic assessment of current capabilitiesIdentification of required changes and enhancements to capabilitiesDescription of inter-relationships between people, organisation, service, process, data, information, technology and the external environmentGuides and co-ordinates across each of the following which are critical in this domain: security; integration; test & evaluation; and, assuranceHelps guide and facilitate effective application of Agile methods across programmesIf you feel you would be suitable, please send in your CV
