Largely remote with some weekly travel to Bristol

Role:

*Working within Defence on a multi-£bn battlefield communication system to support the strategic relationship management activity with key industry partners and suppliers.

*This work uses an internal framework (ISO44001) which focusses on ensuring successful project delivery by developing and maintaining more effective collaborative ways of working and stronger business relationships.

Requirements:

Essential

*Senior Grade with good level of general consulting skills to advise, guide and coach/support the client.

*Specifically the ability to work with senior stakeholders within the MOD and with the selected industry partners/suppliers linked to projects.

*Responsible for project workstreams in strategic relationship management aligned to the procurement lifecycle.

*Ability to operate in a complex matrixed project environment with multiple interfaces and relationships e.g. consortium partners, project teams, customers.

*Ability to run workshops and specific interventions to raise understanding in collaborative working and delivering key artifacts (relationship plans, objectives, benefits knowledge sharing and information management)

*Ability to focus on the wider aspects of successful project delivery and how strong and effective working relationships lead to better project outcomes.

*Ability to understand and clear blockers which are impacting better working relationships.

*Analysis of outputs, information, and survey results to provide recommendations and develop action plans for project teams.

Desirable

*Experience of implementing ISO 44001 within a complex organisation

*Experience of working within Defence projects or supply base
