We're seeking a contract Business Analyst to work with us on a short term basis (c. 25 days) to produce a sustainability report for a project named "5G Vista". 

5G Vista is a pioneering project that will deliver next generation viewing experiences for event spectators. The particular technology that Vista will centre around is further-evolved multimedia broadcast & multicast service (FeMBMS). While most mobile and internet communications are one to one, FeMBMS is one to many; it will take a single stream and send it to multiple users. Working in partnership with DTG, GWS, Virgin Media, O2 and Rohde & Schwarz, Digital Catapult is responsible for the infrastructure of the 5G testbed network, validation of the business use cases, and assessment of further applications and market verticals. 

This contract role will require:

Product market fit & pricing analysis using benchmark studies

Some experience of the 5G telecom industry or a telecoms background

Business case analysis, financial analysis & metrics such as Return on Investment (ROI), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), business valuation metrics such as: sales, costs, profitability

Experience with of Multicast as a Service (MaaS) business model

Experience in sustainability analysis using various frameworks

Client requirement gathering & prioritisation, stakeholder analysis

Report writing
