What are you going to do?Our client is continuously developing the best software for brokers and they can do that even better when its view of the market is complete. In addition, they want to be able to advise their customers and keep them informed of market developments and trends. Developing a Data Lakehouse therefore enables them to devise and build much smarter solutions, using, for example, AI and machine learning. This Data landscape is still in its infancy and that is why they are looking for an experienced Data Architect. In direct collaboration with the CPO and CTO, you will first of all ensure that you know the market and needs like the back of their hand. The construction will be outsourced on the basis of a clear analysis and assignment description. Good commissioning and project management is vital in this role. During and after the construction of the architecture of the Data Lakehouse, you will build its own Data team of engineers, analysts & compliance specialist and ensure that this team is perfectly aligned with the current development team. The continued development of relevant APIs and applications is next on the agenda. You want to move forward and are curious about the developments and trends in the worlds of DevOps, big data, cloud technology and Date Lakehouses. You already have a broad knowledge of modern software and web/cloud technologies, but you want to keep challenging and improving yourself. You have a healthy dose of ambition and see yourself as a real team player who not only gathers knowledge, but also likes to share it. WE EXPECT FROM YOU
A completed HBO/WO education; Experience with data engineering; Experience with development of Data Lakehouses is an advantage; Experience of working in an agile/scrum environment; Experience with collaborating within, managing and inspiring a team; You have a high analytical capacity and love for data. You have experience with cloud technology (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud); You have experience with open-source technology, software development and data engineering; Knowledge about data manipulation and transformation; You have experience in setting up and devising complex ETL, ELT pipelines; Experience with Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) is not a requirement, but an advantage.
