The consultancy is a specialist in Data Engineering, Cloud, and Analytics. You will be using innovative approaches that improve thier data capabilities, analytics, and data governance. Currently with demand from thier clients are at an all time high, they are embarking on a major recruitment drive and are keen to onboard multiple DevOps Engineers to join thier project delivery team. The RoleWe are working for a high-profile client, analysing their existing processes, identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise these processes, and developing solutions to deliver service improvements to them. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will be working in a Linux based enivroment, collabarating with the team to review specifications and then use these agreed specifications to create infrastructure or scripts on AWS using the right standards and tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.You will architect, implement and manage continuous delivery pipelines on AWS to ensure the team can deliver code frequently whilst maintaining quality. Key Responsibilities:Engaging in and improve the whole lifecycle of services, from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement utilising platforms such as Docker and KubernetesImplementing systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platformSupporting development teams with build & deployment best practices e.g. branching strategy, testing methodology, CI/CD and pipelinesDesigning, managing and maintaining tools to automate operational processesImplementing and automating security controls, governance processes, and compliance validationDefining and deploying monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS using AWS native services and/or the ELK stackSupporting the automation of test cases and embedding these within delivery pipelines to ensure code remains robust.
