DevOps Engineer - Remote - SC Cleared

Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join them an initial 6 months contract.

***Due to the nature/urgency of the role, this will require an SC Clearance***

DevOps Role description is:

Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs

Implementing development, testing, automation tools, and cloud infrastructure

Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs

Building automated processes

Incident management and root cause analysis

Mandatory skills:

Must have:

Amazon Infrastructure, Storage, Compute, VPC

Jenkins (CI/CD), knowledge of groovy programming language

Terraform / Docker /Ansible / Kubernetes

Shell scripting

Should have:

Amazon MQ integration software

TOMCAT (Web Server)

GIT/Bitbucket (Source repository)/GitLab (Source Control)

PostgreSQL (Relational Database) /SQL Server

Database DDL scripting

Maven (Build Tool)

Helm (Configuration management)

Graphite/Grafana (Metrics)

Log4J (Logging)

Linux (Ubuntu)

ELK Stack (elasticsearch)

Desirable technical skills:

Activiti (BPM Workflow)

Knowledge of Java ( inc. JDBC, Spring Framework, JSON/SOAP)

Junit (Unit Testing) , Perl

JIRA/ Confluence, Slack
