Data and Information SME

Duration 6 months

Inside IR35

Largely Remote, some travel to London and Birmingham

Data SME with wide ranging experience and understanding of data and information management, specifically:

Data quality management

Document management (management of controlled documents)

Enterprise content management (unstructured data, sharepoint, etc)

Information security

Personal data protection

Third party and supplier data management

Experience in enterprise capability maturity models, such as CMMi, specifically in the data and information management space

Ability to identify gaps in existing maturity level and determine what updates or new policies, processes and procedures are required to close gap and raise maturity level e.g.

Hands-on with ability to update or develop policy, process and, procedure artefacts such as:

Data Management Strategy

DMS Sequence Plan

Data governance objectives

Data management processes for all key data

Data requirements log

Data models

Metrics to identify opportunities to share data

Good team worker with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to have:

Experience in construction, transport/rail

Appreciation of the cultural changes required to move an organisation to be more 'data minded' and understand the value of data as an asset
