SC Software Programmer- C++ plus MATLAB / Simulink

Contract Length: 350 working days

Location: Fareham (5 days to start with then once up and running can do WFH as well)

IR35: Inside

Security Clearance: SC

Role:

We have a requirement for a CTW software programmer to implement new control/autopilot methods and algorithms within an existing framework model. An outline description of the autopilot algorithms and control methods will be made available to the individual. These need to be interpreted into appropriate software requirements / design and then incorporated into the existing model along with appropriate verification/validation.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

* C++ coding experience

* Ability to adapt from outline engineering description / research reports through appropriate de-sign documentation into working code.

* Ability to work within extant architectures / frameworks.

* Experience in coding for modelling & simulation

Desirable:

* Experience in Control Theory / Systems

* MATLAB / Simulink experience

* Experience of software verification testing
