Excellent service as always

I have an appointment on Saturday morning for an injury to my finger and have managed to get the claim processed in 2 days. Wonderful service as always and special shoutout to Michelle Mills for going above and beyond like all staff at WPA do!

Excellent experience!

Im new to WPA & the service so far has been excellent. I have submitted my first claim for dental treatment & this was processed very promptly & with ease. Highly recommend!

Without question the best health…

Without question the best health insurer. The staff you might deal with are friendly and knowledgeable which in today’s world is unheard of in any sector. I’ve had a number of claims over the years and all have been deal with superbly. I’d recommend highly to anyone.

BEWARE!

BEWARE! I’ve been with WPA since 2012 and have felt secure in the knowledge that although the premiums were expensive, in my old age I would have good medical cover. In 2023 for the first time, I claimed the equivalent of my premium because of spinal fractures. I had been insured on a pooled risk basis and without advance notice I was switched to premiums based on my claims of the previous year. The premium was increased by 50%. The company claimed that they are entitled to do this because it’s a new contract. I no longer take any private medical insurance due to the lack of transparency about how premiums are calculated and the large number of excluded conditions in the policy. The basis for calculating the cost of premiums should be clear to customers when they enter into a contract and not based on claims history
when a customer has not been warned that their claim will affect their next premium.

Just such brilliant people to deal…

Just such brilliant people to deal with. Having had a particularly bad year for health with an 8 night hospital admission, MRI scans physio, X rays etc they have always stood by me. I was expecting a huge increase in my premiums this year....no!! the increases are not claim related. Currently recovering from a back injury but discovered the cause now. Arthritis...good news is physio should manage the condition and WPA are helping with this.

Impressed with ease and resolution of claims process

I am an Enterprise Business customer, and for a recent claim had no problem at all in making the claim and getting paid really quickly as per the terms of my policy, which was similar to last year. Have no hesitation in recommending WPA.

Exemplary Service

If you don’t want hassle don’t join this provider

I have been with this organization for 20 years or so and decided to stop paying these payments and put the money to one side as I find you can not get the treatment when you need it.If you pay for it yourself you can get seen instantly the hassle of dealing with this company is so stressful.They are happy to take your payments but like all insurance companies not so happy to pay it out.

ImNHS top up plan …

I have a NHS top up plan to refund costs such as glasses, dental etc. the app has recently been updated to enable quick claims, submitting receipts by uploading photographs during the online claim process. I like that prescription costs are included too. Only issue I have is that monthly fees have increased with inflation each year but no increase in maximum claimable amounts

Excellent Customer Service

My company, with around 80 members, has been with WPA for ten years. We have stayed loyal to WPA as the pricing is sensible and the customer service is excellent. In particular we would like to thank our representative, Lorna Smith, who is always on hand to help if you have queries or concerns. Compared to other private medical insurers, WPA takes a long-term and sustainable approach to pricing whilst maintaining a high level of care.
