    Sack the wife

£30000 is the tax free maximum, £600 is the statutory minimum. She's not a shareholder and has been an employee for over 3 years, what can she get?
I've had a discussion with an accountant friend who says "If it's legal to pay the tax free maximum, surely I could employ the baby for a couple of weeks, then sack it for not being able to type."
