Oh so new applicants from the 31st will get a visa and the existing will get their replaced after. Fair enough. Still time to get some payments in

Yep, that's how COT explained it.

I spoke to them again today as there was an issue with my application (I'm on an Identity fraud register) which means they need to do further checks. I asked again about the switch and HMRC charges. There recommendation was to use a curve card with the CoT card to get around the charges.

Sad times when 4k a day isn't enough

I'd expect a reasonable number of peoples Ltd's have a quarterly VAT bill over £4k, and a higher annual corporation tax bill. I think I read that you could split payments, so pay tax bills over multiple days but I'd still prefer to pay it in one go if possible

                    I know, just jesting.

Yes you can split payments, I do it quite regularly. Split a VAT bill over two statement periods, chip away at CT by paying on account in the months leading up to the payment deadline, etc.

Capital on Tap have just emailed out to say the new Visa Corporate Credit Card will be with customers by 14 December and there will be an opportunity to apply early for the new card via the online portal.

Just a couple of months left to get any payments made via the Mastercard then...
