    Accountant merging with another firm

Some months ago, my accountant notified me they were now merging with another firm.

Does the merger automatically mean I am still represented by the new firm and with the same obligations from both sides, or as I have not signed new T&Cs aor terms of service with the new firm, I am free to assume they dont?

I want to switch to new accountant with minimal disruption i.e. the transfer of docs from old to new accountant,

    Thanks In Advance

Simply assume that nothing changes. Normally you don't need to do anything.
    I'm alright Jack
