    You have to be prepared to lose your investment. Small companies are highly risky, particularly one with high debt. The statistics are not good.

    I would only accept such a job by assuming a reasonable probability of not ending up with anything, i.e. be prudent. If you are financially secure and you could afford a few months travelling for example and you relish the challenge then go ahead.
