Occupation of Director during company formation

    Hi,

During the process of forming a Ltd company it asks for the occupation of the Director's. What is usually recommended to put there? Just 'Director' or do you actually specify what you do e.g. engineer, software developer, project manager? How about if your wife will be a director and does no other job outside of that, is Director fine to put?

    Thanks for any help!

You can put director, your actual occupation or just leave blank.

Put "Director". In terms of your new company your job is being a contractor, not what you do for clients to earn money. May as well get that clear in your head from the start.
      Blog? What blog...?

Thanks very much that makes a lot of sense, I'll go with Director.
