    Is BADR different to MVL?

I'm confused about what MVL and what BADR is now. What is the difference between them?

I thought the MVL CGT tax liability was 10%. What is the 20% CGT liability posted above relate to?

Perhaps you should do the same level of prior reading you expect everyone in the HMRC Enquiries forum to have done.

The 20% is the standard rate of CGT if you don't qualify for entrepreneurs relief and it's not a residential property.

So MVL is the vehicle to get the distribution out of the liquidated company, and BADR is the regulation to qualify for the reduced 10% CGT tax?
