    6 month deposit bond rates

    I am in need of a 6 month deposit bond for a 5-figure sum.

    HSBC have offered 1.55%

    Do you know of a better rate? thanks

      I opened an Investec High 5 account and have been well impressed with the level of service. Although it's variable (currently 4.6%) it is guaranteed to be competitive. Minimum balance £25k and 3 months notice.

            Zopa are not covered by the FSA. If Zopa go kaput, so does all your money.
