Company bank account while in a personal debt management arrangement

I have a client who was in a trust deed, the upshot of which is he is now in a debt management plan. The Trustee in Bankruptcy has given him permission to become a director of a limited company. He is experiencing serious difficulty in opening a bank account - his personal bank don't want to know and NatWest won't even offer the foundation account.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

If the bank who holds his personal account said no its not looking good, only other option would be to add a second director to his LtdCo and use them to open an account, although it would have to be someone you trust implicitly.

I can't believe I forgot the "search first, fool" rule. Sorry NLUK. I'll try harder.

The thread to which you provided a link will be extremely helpful I'm sure.
