It's that time of year for the obligatory Christmas face stuffing & annual pishup

First year doing own accounts & newly installed Sage.

Any accountants know the best Sage nominal to post the party expenses of up to £150 quid to?

You could also use
7012 - Employee General Expenses
7403 - UK Entertainment

As long as it makes sense to you and you don't put it on the balance sheet there is no right answer.
