    Benched

I'm hoping I've done the right thing, but my permie friends and family aren't necessarily getting it.

I handed in my notice on Friday, and sacked the nanny today. I'm going to have a few months off with my son and get my priorities straight.

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

          good luck.

maybe spend the next few months looking for something that allows you to combine work with family time?

I'm lucky I work from home and am mainly measured on deliverables. I spend a lot more time with my little one than I did with my others.

I'm still employed, so not quite. She's a bit of a twat, so yes.

Have a great summer with the little one - they don't stay young for long, and eventually they won't want to be seen with you so make the most of it!
