    Rats leaving a sinking ship...

Illegal Immigrants Caught Trying To Leave UK

Didn't realise things were this bad...
A group of illegal immigrants have been caught trying to leave the UK and smuggle themselves into France by hiding in a lorry on a cross-channel ferry.

The Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Afghani and Sri Lankan nationals were caught by French border police when the P&O Spirit of France docked in Calais on Tuesday.

Two families - including two children - and another 22 men had stowed away in a Polish lorry.
All 28 immigrants were returned to Dover at 6.40pm that evening on P&O's Pride of Canterbury.
    WTF!!!!!
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

They sent them back where they'd come from? Immediately? What kind of crazy immigration policy is that?

"All 28 immigrants were returned to Dover"

So if you are a smart illegal immigrant wannabe, and want to get into the UK from France, you should pretend that you are trying to leave the UK rather than get into it. That way they'll ship you "back" to Dover

"Under an agreement between the UK and French governments the 28 were returned to Dover in the same way as clandestine migrants found at our controls in Calais are passed to the French authorities.
The French and British governments cooperating?

        That's a new one.

You see the problem here is you have a bunch of people with some 'get up and go' and a reason to do so in their arses, called 'migrants' and a bunch of people with lard, self interest and bulltulip in their arses, called 'politicians'. Who do you think is going to win that contest (every time)?

Yes, the people who dream up the laws and the conventions like the Dublin Regulation.
