I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

Three, covering 17 years in the business, of which the third page is education and contact information only.

On the average, people reviewing CVs read:

    - 60% of the first page
    - 20% of the second page
    - nothing else.

That's what people with a short CV say.

          Just one sentence in mine:

If you don't hire me, then your competitor will

I keep it white to filter out stupid people without imagination.

          threaded.

3 pages max, anything which would take it over that gets summarised in a single short paragraph. Don't kid yourself that anyone's going to bother reading any more. I don't include education either, no-one's ever asked about my O and A Levels. I've been asked to show my MCSE certs a couple of times though.

Surely this depends on the font used. My CV is massive
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

              I preferred version 1!

The question was about the size of CV, not number of words per page, which would indeed depend on font size used.
