Nearly every time an agent asks about other stuff they are fishing so it is a reasonable approach to tell them nothing so you should not feel sorry at all.

The dysfunctionality that exists in the agent contractor relationship has been completely manufactured by them, when the recruitment industry adopts a level of professionalism and ethical behaviour then I will start worrying about how I treat them.
