Would you help a woman in need?

Why didn't I stop to help a woman in need? - Telegraph

I would not help for 3 reasons :-
    1. The woman would probably turn on me.
    2. I am a coward
    3. It feels vaguely sexist - why does being a woman make any difference

I do hope if MrsBP ever turns on me in public then someone will help me out.

    Depends on the Girl?

If Josie Cunningham was being attacked by a maniac I'd run to get my deck chair and popcorn to get a front seat!

      I had to google her.

I would like to think that I would help a woman in distress. But I know that, although it was 15 years ago in Paris, I once encountered a woman being mugged off her handbag by some bloke who accosted her in the middle of the road. I didn't have the balls to dive in there and help her (even though it would have been a guaranteed sh@g in reward (French women )) I just stood there, helpless and useless

I have however intervened in such situations especially when I know the couple. I normally walk up and ask a stupid question. It gives both sides time to calm down.

of course if it were a man I have to laugh - apparently. - This story is the origin of the picture

They're attractive to Sun readers presumably
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

I would and I have, I even posted about it on here. Unfortunately I missed the chav's friends behind me, got blindsided and kicked in the head a couple of times on the floor.

Luckily neither of them could actually hit so I immediately got back up and carried on where I left off but ended up facing two of them instead of one.

I would do it again (although not the getting whacked over the back of the head part). I hope that if my daughter was ever getting assaulted in the street someone would try to help her, I don't feel I have a right to ask that of anyone if I am not prepared to do the same myself.
