    OED - New definitions for common words

    The Oxford English Dictionary have annoinced a couple of new definitions for common words

    Imminent
    /ˈɪmɪnənt/


    adjective

    old usage - Close , near, fast approching

    new usage - Far in the future, more chance of nailing a jelly to the ceiling


    WWIII

    abrv (world war 3)


    old usage - A global conflict involving most or all of the superpowers

    new usage - a local border dispute between a bloke in a furry hat and a bloke on a horse
