    Who'd Ever Have Believed It!

    Here
I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. [Christopher Hitchens]

The second half of that page was written months ago, like an obituary for someone on their death bed, they were just waiting for it to happen.

Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

            .....

Was this thread a kind of perverse treasure hunt?

The title 'Who would have believed it' held no clues and the content link of 'Here' was even more obtuse.

If we got there in the end, what did we win? A doubles game with Sir Cliff and a nameless 'prominent politician'?

              I'll consider myself rebuked.
