If you could, what English words would you change?

One of the chaps at work was lamenting the word "handy" meaning mobile phone in German. Why not cell phone, or mobile he asked?

Navi is also a bit tulip I told him. He agreed.

This set me thinking, what words in English would you change, and why?

I'd change needful to Boogie-woogie, it would at least sound funny when misused
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

He said English word, not made-up Englishish words.

I'd change the word "antidisestablishmentarianism" to "twat".

That way being so much shorter the replacement word might be used more widely, and there would be comical misunderstandings if people happened to use it for something else but their listeners assumed they must be talking about disestablishing the Church of England.

I think snib needs changing. As in "leaving the door on the snib".

Not sure what to, but snib is just rubbish.

Equally tulip. I think it's also Sneck in some other flat cap wearing region.

Needs changed across the board to something better...
