    Any travelling to the US from the UK should be subject to a full 'special' interrogation.

    Philip Hammond has described the apparent beheading of a US journalist by an Islamic State militant with a British accent as "an appalling example of the brutality of this organisation".

    The foreign secretary said a video of the killing appeared to be genuine.

    He added that the government was aware of "significant numbers" of British nationals involved with extremist organisations overseas.

    Could be from anywhere in the UK, including Scotland (you ain't got independence yet....)

        I don't think there is any such thing as a London accent anymore, I haven't heard one in the 11 months I've spent down here.

              Arguably a British accent only means the person learned to speak English in Britain.

              Exhibit number one: Jan Molby (Danish footballer for Liverpool, speaks fluent English with a broad Scouse accent).
