    Went to a museum today

Poxy Austrian weather so went to the Technisches Museum for the day and thought of some of you (one of the first computers I worked on):

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I'm intrigued. Any idea what the bit with the 4 rings in the middle is?

If they are fans then there might be some interesting kit inside that PDP. I never saw one in the flesh but one use for PDPs was as a front end to FPS kit.
Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.

I wasn't too sure as I don't recall it on any of the PDPs i worked on but apparently its a TU56 dual DECtape drive: PDP-11 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
