    BOOMED.

Following the recent rate cut, I was keen to recoup some of the cut, no joy.

So I tried reducing the notice to 1 week, no joy, "too much of a risk", maybe 1 week less notice to 3 weeks.

So I ask for a 12 month contract, even if it is only really an indicator of intent than contractually binding.

So currently we are finalising 12 months with 3 weeks notice, at the reduced rate which even with the cut is still pretty good.

Maybe I am just being a tad greedy.

What's their notice period to you? Should have had your notice shortened, and there's lengthened.

        Nice one.

My notice to them, so it gives me a little more flexibility to leave a little quicker if something attractive came up.

Normally I wouldn't consider a mid contract departure but having had the rate cut, they can kma
