I’ve just been entertaining the Old Bill !!!

I had a buzz on the intercom which; I generally ignore. Then they were banging on the door, which I also ignored. When they started to shout through the letter box I knew I was in trouble.

I let them in and the started to ask me questions about who I was and how long I had been here. I though I was nicked for sure.

Turns out it’s not me they were after; but one of the neighbors. They wanted to know what I knew about him. Who came to visited them, etc. I know nothing about them whatsoever. Seen a couple go in to the flat once soon after I moved in and said hello, they sounded European and that was it.

The police were a bit suspicions of me because I was very nervous and this flat is nearly devoid of furniture except of the very basics. Took ages to calm them down!

I feel all of a flutter now.

Are you sure it wasn't the heavy smell of rum on your breath and the silly hat (coupled with anxious glances to a rum soaked area of the floor that isn't a flat as it should be) that made them suspicious?

They would not say what they had nicked him for, but I got the impression that it was drug related. They did ask where in the Caribbean I had been, but never directly e.g. ‘have you ever been to …?’.

              Narh, our parrots are blue

              also,
              I don't have a hook,
nor any fuzz round the chops,
nor a towel round me head.

But apart from that - I suppose so.
