    A good proportion of that 350K is the land in that location and the permission to build a home on it.

    Plus water, sewage, leccy and maybe gas connections.
    Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.

      Methinks a contractor involved wasn't doing their job correctly.

                  Year before last I was trying to find a way to render a breeze block wall down the garden and did a bit of research into materials. Amazing how poo and pee were significant ingredients in building in the past.
