I'm back people and with a new parking zone

I have a new restricted parking zone in my central Edinburgh street. Cleared out all the students, unqualified accountants and IT contractors.

Bluddy good job too. Freeloaders, kebab chunderers and non-taxpayers, respectively.

Anyone had poor tax advice recently? Ask the rabbit - I only ask for porn links in return.

Fack me, it gives me only 1 post. I was one of the people challenging for super poster - oh not 3 years ago?

T-34? Bah, ask yourself - what are the names of Russian tank aces who were driving T-34s? I have not heard any because life span of a T-34 was very short - good weapons are no good if there is no team play and tactics are that of brutal force.

How is your wife anyway, not wishing she was back home? I hear Russian house prices are growing big time...

Michael Wittmann - now that is a man who was at the top of his game.. no one else compares.... the only way to get him was via aircraft....

              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Wittmann

The number of enemy vehicle kills achieved by crews under Wittmann's command has never been surpassed. Wittman's crews (chiefly gunner Balthasar "Bobby" Woll, also a Knight's Cross holder) are known to have destroyed at least 138 tanks and 141 artillery pieces, along with an unknown number of other armoured vehicles. At the time of his death he held many decorations, including:

Swords to the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross
Oakleaves to the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross
Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross
              Iron Cross, First Class
              Iron Cross, Second Class
              Tank Battle Badge
He is buried in the graveyard of "La Cambe" in France.

Mr Rabbit nice to see you again here. I am afraid not many have remained though. It's only AtW and Milan working every weekend dreaming of retiring before 40. Well, anyway, hope you stay tuned.

                  Ciao
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

No, #1 was OTTO CARIUS: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_Carius

Over 150 tanks, most on the Russian front - there is a big difference between shooting ducks (Shermans) and engaging IS-2 tanks.

The biggest tank-killer ace is not him however, but Hans-Ulrich Rudel from Luftwaffe - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans-Ulrich_Rudel :

"In total, Rudel flew some 2,530 combat missions (a world record), during which he destroyed almost 2,000 ground targets (among them 519 tanks, 70 assault craft/landing boats, 150 self-propelled guns, 4 armoured trains and 800 other vehicles; as well as 9 planes (2 Il-2's and 7 fighters). "

That's confirmed no BS score - they actually had to create unique award just for him - Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Golden Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds

There are no similarly known Russian tank aces - there are air aces, however recently I've read info that pretty much explains how they remained aces - they had lots of other pilots assigned with only goal to protect them.

Russians are not good team players, unless its mass grave.
