    All filled internally!!!! Mmmmm

Recently was "put forward" for 3 different banking contracts with the same bank via different agents at the same recruitment firm.

All three, once prompted for an update, said the roles had been filled internally.

    Smells like BS to me.

I guess it's the nicest rejection option, if we assume it's not true.

Other responses that would really annoy you would be:

        - Oh we didn't read your email application
        - We just picked the first 5 people who we could get hold of to put forward
        - We thought you weren't qualified enough

        Other "nice" rejections would be:
        - the budget was pulled
        - the project has been postponed

I suspect that was your clue.

The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth....

No debate on any of those, seen them all more times than I care to think.

Does it matter? Just keeping applying.

It's a strange thing, chasing for updates. If you are in the frame you rarely need to.
