Actually, they are about as different as they've been in a very long time, bearing in mind they are both mainstream parties.

Governments have little say on economies these days, except when it comes to printing money to save the banks.

It's more that the damage that they do takes time to play out, and then they can just stick the blame on whoever happens to be the governing party at the time. There is little I have seen from Milliband or Labour that inspires me to think they have the faintest clue of how economies thrive. They're just run of the mill champagne socialists, as are the Lib dems.

Blair knows the guy is unelectable. I know it, you know it. He will have said it at some point. Blair is not a fool.
