    Traditional Policing methods work...

    CCTV officer's kick 'justified'

A police officer captured by CCTV cameras apparently kicking a handcuffed suspect has been cleared by a police disciplinary panel.
The sergeant allegedly kicked Delbo King, 35, as he arrested the former paratrooper for criminal damage in Manchester city centre in June 2003.

A disciplinary panel has now concluded that the officer used "justifiable and reasonable" force.

Mr King's lawyer said the ruling made a mockery of the complaints procedure.

The former paratrooper, from Gorton, was arrested after smashing a bus shelter in June 2003.

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

Is it something about the name "King" which allows police to beat up suspects and get away with it? I wonder if he's related to Rodney King.
