Why are Irish people so loud?

Having a pint in a bar at the moment, around 40 folk in chatting quietly, eating and drinking. Tranquility has now been broken by 2 Irish foghorns.

"WA WA WA WAAAAAAAAAAAAA WAAAAA WAAAAAA"

Christ, no wonder Churchill was so tetchy.

Minnie's not happy about something? That's unusual.

          You're Northern, not Irish.

My wife's Irish Catholic and very loud, sometimes I just want to stuff something in her mouth! She does let me, so she can't be so bad.

Before I left the pub which was well before the start of the game I heard her shout to her friend who was on the games machine 5 yards away

                "YOU ARE VERY QUIET"

then I had this flashback to Graham Norton in the caravan with Father Ted.

                  Does she work?

They probably have to do that to her there as well.

Ah! That's why she earns so much and doesn't like tapioca.
