    How should we cut obesity?

BBC News - Mediterranean diet is best way to tackle obesity, say doctors

They make the case for a Mediterranean diet, including fruit and vegetables, nuts and olive oil, citing research suggesting it quickly reduces the risk of heart attacks and strokes, and may be better than low-fat diets for sustained weight loss.

My concern is who can afford it? It costs 3 times as much to feed a famiily healthily as on a bad diet.

If you go to a supermarket and have 60p to feed your kids, are you going to spend it on 5 doughnuts or 2 apples?

why bother - in the UK if you are fat just go to the hospital - remember it is not your fault it is a disease.

when there is no free health care and you cannot get out of bed because you live on pizza and lard you die....

give people an incentive not to be fat and stop giving them excuses for being fat.

Make income tax rates proportional to your BMI. That'd get people losing weight.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

And tax disc if you're a driver. For a fatty the braking distance is greater.

Infect one in every 100 fast food meals with dysentery.

Link benefits to BMI. The fatter you are the less you get.

Drill the fatties for blubber and use it to replace our coal fired generators.

Obesity is largely (so to speak) due to having the wrong bacteria in your insides

Are some people doomed to be fat?
